    Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Technocrats Institute of Technology organized a site visit today at M. P. Power Transmission Distribution Company, Govindpura Bhopal. Er. Sushil Kumar explained theory and practical aspects of working of 33/11 kV substation. Practical exposure to the working of the SCADA system (in MP there are only two) was also gven to the students. 30 students visited PTDC, as per the MOU signed with them in January 2023. Prof Deepak Pandey accompanied the students during the visit.

    Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Technocrats Institute of Technology, Bhopal organized two days workshop on the topic “Industrial Automation and IIOT- 4.0” for B.Tech students on date 18/03/2023 & 20/03/2023. The chief guest for this workshop was Er. Arvind Soni, Owner of Arist Automation Pvt. Ltd. Er. Arvind Soni explained about different reasons why industrial automation matters. He also explained that how to interface PLC with SCADA. Participants performed hands on PLC Training Kit with SCADA software. Dr. Anula Khare, HOD, EX-Department, Technocrats Institute of Technology, Bhopal interacted with students and she said in her speech the main aim behind conducting such type of events. Dr. Shashi Kumar Jain, Director, Technocrats Institute of Technology, Bhopal gave the introductory speech and motivated students for gaining knowledge about industrial automation.
